Hi, I’m Adrian, a product designer from Ghana, currently living in New York.

As a designer I believe good design is usually messy, free and should make the most complicated things seem simple. Despite that I still believe design should be systematic and thought through while solving problems. My curiosity and my deep obsession with sweating the little details is what drives me to do my best design work.

I have spent the close to 2 years designing products and experiences that leave impressions. I’ve shipped products and websites from the early research stages, to branding, and core designs.

I am currently a product designer at Tethys Design Studio. Before that I was a founding product designer at Squaft. This project was paused before development due to internal team constraints.

Passion project

Axela - AI billing tool

Axela is an AI product I scoped, designed, and built end to end on my own: a tool that helps billing teams at hospitals and medical practices handle prior authorizations and insurance appeals. It's a full-stack app (Next.js, a multi-tenant database, role-based access) with Claude built into the core, generating payer-specific appeal letters from case data. I used Claude throughout the build itself too, as a research and pairing tool. It's still in its build phase so I can't share everything. But you can view it at getaxela.com

My work

Squaft - Real estate web app

As founding product designer at Squaft, I shaped a real estate and space rentals product from the ground up: research, brand, design system, and the core booking flow. The pitch was zero-commission BnB and storage rentals, and my job was making that feel effortless to list and book. The project was paused before development due to internal team constraints, but the system and flows are fully built out.

Fig - Fintech mobile app

I joined Fig when I first came on at Tethys Design Studio. Their design system was out of date and inconsistent, so I led the migration to an atomic system, rebuilding components so the team could ship faster and stay consistent across screens. I also designed several core pages and flows. The system is now used in over 80% of the app.

Erelevant - Startup positioning studio

Erelevant's owner reached out because his clients kept complaining the site was hard to navigate, everything was "all over the place." I redesigned and built the site in Framer around a clear structure, and set him up with a Framer design system so he could update and extend it himself without me. [add a real outcome if you have one: e.g. "he's shipped X pages on it since"]

Framer development

Telesol - Telecomm website redesign

A full redesign of Telesol's telecom site, built to make their bundles and plans easy to browse and compare. I worked closely with the client and their developers through the whole build, focusing on the animation and motion detail that made the final site feel polished. [add a real outcome: e.g. "launched in [month/year]," "still live at [link]"]

Concept work and explorations: designs that weren't tied to a client project, or ideas that didn't make it to development. This is where I test directions and push visual details for their own sake.
